The YRDS Methodology
GROUP SESSIONS
Proformance Football has its own method for developing football players. The YRDS Methodology focuses on developing not only players’ skills but also their character.
This holistic method nurtures individuals to become strong and capable both, on and off the field.

Player development is a multifaceted process. The YRDS methodology focuses on the technical, physical, psychological, and social aspects of a footballer’s development as interconnected elements.
Each component plays a vital role in shaping a well-rounded player. By addressing these facets collectively, our coaches and trainers can optimize performance and support the growth of players in a comprehensive manner.

The process is as follows:
- Players register for a specific tournament.
- We hold trial dates for players who are not Proformance Football players and who want to join our team for the tournament– If a player cannot make it to a trial, they can also send us a video and their player CV.
- All players going to the tournament must train together one full week prior to the start of the tournament. The training takes place daily at the facilities in Marbella, Spain.
- The team travels from Marbella together to the tournament.
- After the tournament, players may make their own way back home and those players who are with the academy will return to the academy in Marbella, Spain.

- 2- 3 Club group training sessions weekly (subject to a successful trial with a Spanish club)

- Spanish intensive language course (when applicable)

- Fully accredited K12 academic curriculum recognised worldwide

- DAY Program: 9.00 -17h00 (may end later in the evening depending on the Spanish club training schedule)

- Hands-on approach – our coaches get involved and participate with our players
- Bilingual environment: Native Spanish and English spoken
- Bilingual welfare support staff
- A Proformancefootball training certificate is provided for all players who complete the full week
