Yuri’s idea behind Proformance Football is to develop players, to get them ready for their future, be it as pro players or any other path they choose.

From his own experience, Yuri realized that the training and development a player gains, through even the best grassroots system in the world, lacks in getting a player ready for the big leap. 

A footballer’s development is not solely about physical skills, coordination, agility, and an understanding of the game.  It is a combination of the physical and the mental.

Proformance Football’s training sessions build character as well as nurture players physically, technically, tactically and mentally.

Our players come from everywhere making it a very rich, international environment. Players get to share and learn from each other’s colourful backgrounds, build memories together and friendships that last a lifetime.

The focus is on drills that truly challenge a young player’s natural talent to help them perfect their skills and perform to the best of their ability. It also provides a mindset and helps develop their personal strengths through focus, discipline, perseverance, team spirit, hard work, and respect, all within a healthy, competitive environment.

To ensure consistency in player development, all coaches undergo a rigorous training program at Proformance Football to teach them the YRDS Method before they can coach at the academy.
